Government can create jobs in the short term. However, government cannot create long lasting highly paid profitable jobs. There must be a profit incentive for jobs to be long lasting highly compensated and profitable for businesses.

Who, What, When, Where, And Why I Am Running

My name is Jason R Clark, and I am running for Governor of Colorado. The first question asked of a politician is almost always – why are you running? Inevitably, the ambitious politico will respond with endless empty impossible to achieve adjectives, few of which can be deciphered, let alone accomplished. The citizen voter has thus become accustomed to utter irreconcilable disappointments. My personal, business, and political brands are all intertwined into this conundrum – how do you tell the people what you are actually going to do and how you are going to do it … and still get elected. Perhaps that is the guise of our constant distaste for Politicians. I refuse to do this on a personal, business, or political level. What I will do is tell you who I am … My story, My resume, My Plan. In return, I ask that you review my resume, compare me to the other candidates, and then vote for me ..… or whoever you think is the best candidate. Isn’t that the way it’s suppose to work? Now, to answer your question … and, I will always answer your questions. There are 3 reasons why I am running for Governor of Colorado … again.

First and foremost, I am running for Governor to Win! I am not playing for second place and I will not quit. I am a Leader and a Winner. Secondly, I believe that I have something to offer every Coloradoan and American in my personal story. I, like so many of you, am utterly astounded at the way our elected officials have treated us. I, like so many of you, had my home go into foreclosure. I, like so many of you, was targeted by the IRS for being a conservative Republican. I, like so many of you, was also targeted by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). I, like NOT so many of you, have been overly scrutinized by the Sec of State’s office. All of the above, mind you, AFTER, not before, I decided to run for Governor in 2010. Coincidence, I know.

This is not the purpose of Government. Our government should be working for us, not against us. Helping to solve problems that are too big to solve individually – for example, education, infrastructure, and healthcare for the less fortunate. Oh, make no mistake about it, I am living proof that one man cannot and will not determine MY destiny. I beat the IRS. I beat DORA. I beat the SOS. I beat the Wall Street bailouts. I beat the market. Not bad for a small home-based business. Something that I am very very very proud of. And this man cannot and will not determine the Destiny of this great Nation or that of Colorado. We, and only We are in charge of OUR destiny.

Gen X-Y GOP

“Social Issues With Solutions”

Gen X / Y Republicans welcome everyone who is a Patriot of The United States of America. There are no other requirements. Our purpose is simple and straightforward: To rebuild the GOP brand as the party of less government AND economic solutions for America. We welcome conservative minded individuals who are of any gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. We even welcome Old Grey Haired White Men (just recognize before you come that you are not in charge anymore, we are!). No name calling of people who have a different opinion from you on the role of government; no derogatory, insulting, isolating, or divisive language; no ideologues – we tried that and it did not work.

  • The Gen X / Y GOP is only interested in solutions. Solutions derived from deep, free, independent critical thinkers who are patriots and lovers of America. If you offer us a 10-1 split on revenues to expenses we will gladly accept it, because it makes common sense. We are for less government whenever possible – not only when it fits our own personal opinions, beliefs, or religion (ergo, social issues). Less government means less government.

  • This includes personal responsibility for your own healthcare.

  • We are for free and fair markets, competition, and capitalism. Government does not belong in private business. You cannot have a competitive capitalist market without rules and regulations. These rules and regulations need not be over-burdensome. Reaganomics worked. However, it was not perfect and can be greatly improved. For instance, it is "lower taxes" not "no taxes." Business and Finance leaders who threaten to leave the US over tax loopholes? See Ya! Let me personally show you the exit door to China. Fiscal responsibility is also a part of Reaganomics (lower taxes, monetary stability, and less regulation are the other proponents). Amnesty … Reagan did it, so should we. That is a fact, not an opinion.

  • War is evil, and just another example of expansive government. Gen X / Y Republicans are not interested in fixing the problems of other people in other Nations. These people need to fix their own problems. However, we are not pacifists. War is required only when the sovereignty of our Nation is at stake. Yes, education is important, but not everyone desires or needs a four-year college education with a six figure student loan debt and no job opportunities when they graduate. Other professions are equally important to a vibrant robust economy – auto-mechanics for example. Frugality is essential to a prosperous nation, business, or family. Debt is bad – Always. Moderate controlled deficits are a fact of government, as are home and auto loans for families, and business loans for small businesses. But, multiple credit cards with large outstanding balances, three home loans, and several car loans, are not. Opinions to the contrary are financially/fiscally irresponsible. No nation, business, individual or family has ever spent their way to prosperity. That is a fact, not an opinion. Wealth is created by doing, saving, and investing – whether a government, business, family, or individual there is no mathematical difference.

  • Lastly, on Energy – until your energy footprint is less than mine you are by definition a hypocrite – no more environmental and conservationist hypocrites.

  • Oh, almost forgot, guns are legal, moral, and ethical in American society. If you do not like that, then change the United States Constitution.
